There is room for everybody in judo. The goal of the project Choose Sport is the creation of the habit of long term involvement in sport. Except for children, the project includes into sport the youth who receive scholarships on the ground of adverse social standing. Thus, the project addresses the general population of school children, but its target group are children in adverse social standing and thus in risk of social exclusion. These children are given free memberships in the judo clubs of the Zagreb Judo Union: the judo club “Lika“ and the judo club “Zagreb,“ where they also receive free sports equipment – a judo kimono.

The implementation of the project is co-financed by EU, from the European Social Fund.
