A judo contestant from the judo club Rijeka Sandra Uršičić, and the coach for the children with developmental issues within the JudoIN project – has won the silver medal at the European kata cup (EJU) “Marcel Clause 2019” in Brussels. Bravo for Sandra!

In the JK Rijeka, Sandra works as the coach for the children with developmental issues according to the JudoIN programme – adjusted judo activities. Among the attendees she coaches are Clara, Ivan-Rafael, Nadina, Iva, Luka, Matea, Darko, Mia, Veronika and Borna. Sandra is a great motivator for then, because she entertains them during training sessions and gets them to do exercises through play, which are useful for their motor functions and self confidence. They will surely rejoice for Sandra winning the medal. Congratulations!
