Children with developmental difficulties do not comprehend the notion of competition and fight, and are taught is school – not to fight. When the coach, Sandra Uršičić, told them during the first training session “Come on, fight!;” they screamed “Nooo!” And everybody hugged each other. They do not care who is first, they laugh and are merry; everyone is first. And then the parents of children with developmental difficulties helped Sandra and explained to children that a judo fight is not a street fight, but practice. And these children like to be awarded with a medal for their effort – everybody must get a medal. Every single one of them asks that others get a medal as well.
