

In cooperation with the Rijeka Sports Union and the children’s behaviour specialist Tatjana Brumen Marčin, the association POKRET – aktivan i zdrav (MOVEMENT – active and healthy), within the JUDO Inclusion project, are continuing the staging of the children’s play under the title of ”Gentle Path“ in primary schools in the area of the city of Rijeka, also attended by the children with behavioural difficulties. The play is led by the actor Ivan Đuričić, it lasts for some 40 minutes, and it, in a fun and interesting way, tells the true story of the tiny Jigoro Kano, who wanted to become big and strong and thus became a judo contestant, and his growing up through sport. Within the play, the judo players of the judo club Rijeka demonstrate judo throws and grips.
For interested pupils of the target group, free judo training will be enabled within the JC Rijeka, and the procurement of free sports gear – kimonos.
