One doesn’t need to get a haircut if he wants to train judo

Zajedno JK RIjeka 20181222_094106. We take on boys with long hair too, because this is not about hair; something else is key: that you are accepted within the club, that you strictly adhere to judo rules – for there are no elements of danger here – we work with full force, and you also take care about not hurting the opponent. Maximum self control of emotions is trained, maximum control of aggression is developed, we learn how to accept defeat. Because of the values above, judo is accepted throughout the world regardless of continents and religious barriers, as a good sport for the upbringing of persons. The judo club Rijeka, together with the association Pokret – aktivan i zdrav (Movement – active and healthy), are undertaking an inclusive project JudoIN, which is financed by the European Social Fund. Judo is a sport for everybody!
